Should I have, or should I say something about this guy letting his 13 year old smoke weed?

I was on playstation playing a co op game with a friend, when this other guy joined our paty. i think it was a guy that I was friends with on fb, and talked to a little bit in highschool. It could have been another guy I don't know. Anyways, he sent a picture to my friend. I think it was a picture of his dog or child. This is were I'm confused. I think it would he weird to send a photo of your child to your friend. I think that's why maybe it was his dog or something. My friend was like "is that weed under him on the ground? Is he doing drugs?" This guy was like "he's old enough to smoke. He's 13". My friend started to show disapproval, but then was like "well, I started smoking at that age too", then he dropped it. I felt like I should have said something, but I don't think I have enough information, although maybe I should have asked. I think its wrong to let 13 year old smoke, and I think it's wrong to smoke weed around your pets. I don't even know if what he said is what he meant.

Dude. That's sketchy as hell. A 13 year old smoking weed? No way.

If that really was his kid, I'd for sure say something. Even if it's just some random gamer guy, it's not cool to act like that's okay. What if he has younger friends who see it? Might give them ideas.

I'd call him out. Be like "hey man, don't know if you're serious about the 13 year old smoking thing, but that's straight up not cool and illegal. weed brain's real at that age."

And if he confirms it's his kid or whatever, tell him straight up he's in the wrong. A kid that young shouldn't be smoking or making that normal. Could seriously mess them up.

Better to say something than just ignore it, ya know? Who knows who else he might influence being so casual about underage smoking. Gotta call people on shit like that.

I'd bring it up again if you play with him more. Not in an angry way, but just make it clear you don't think it's okay behavior. Could maybe convince him to cut that crap out before he gets in real trouble.

Nope because from what I understand, people that continuously defend the usage of weed, definitely can’t and won’t concept your concerns. They don’t care. They already have their mind made up.
