I have a very dominating and talkative coworker, who completely takes over every single meeting. I can barely talk, and when I do, my coworker will often interrupt me. I started to get frustrated at my boss not doing anything about it, so I decided to speak with her (my boss) directly. I explicitly stated that I would like to have equal speaking time to my coworker. I said that I would like it if both of us could lead meetings, vs my coworker just talking the entire time.
Ever since then, my coworker has been extremely cold towards me and it's uncomfortable. Did I make a mistake?
