I find it emotionally draining when I work with people who don't care or not interested in their job. I am interested in expanding my technical field but my coworkers don't seem interested in that sort of thing, they seem to want to do the bare minimum and then go home. Also, some of them like to bully me / put me down, seem to pretend they know things when they don't (rather than admit they don't know something, they'd rather pass false knowledge to appear competent), or even withhold training info.

Yea, as long as they aren't fanatical about it. I worked in engineering a lot of years. Most engineers really like what they do. Me too.

I was also a carpenter framing houses. Most framers who last more than one season LOVE their job. When I did that, if I worked six days a week, I couldn't wait for Monday so I could go back to work. I loved it.
