Musical legend Tina Turner has died at age 83. Were you a fan of her music?

I liked some of her music. The theme song she did for Golden eye was the shiz, and I love her version of "The Game of Love" with Santana. Michelle Branches version is good too. Both versions sound different and unique.

I read a biography on her once and I read that IKE was abusive and highly addicted to drugs. I think back in the late 70s, that's when she divorced him because it got so bad. And I remember reading about her running away from the guy! It was that bad. Yikes!

I think he died of an overdose, cocaine or meth. I was in an abusive relationship and had an abusive family, so I look up to her. She was brave for getting away from him. Running away from someone isn't always cowardly, especially if you don't know that person has intentions of killing you!

Maybe she rest in peace. She had some good music. Upbeat.

This makes me sad. I've listened to some of her songs many years ago. She was really a great singer and I loved her voice. I don't know much about her but I always got this feeling that she's a good person. I hope she rest well in peace

She was a powerful woman who made herself over after a long spate of an abusive marriage. The fact that she had an incredible comeback spoke volumes about who she was! A survivor! Have to like that.

She was indeed a musical legend and her life story is impressive. She was strong and brave. I wasn't a fan of her music, but I knew some. May she rest in peace.

I think you really have to respect Tina and it saddened me when I saw the news.

"You're the best" is a great football anthem. The only problem I have is she did that for Rugby. I don't why she chose that way. Australian Rules Football was the obvious choice.

I was never a fan. I hated most of her early records. Too much screaming! The stuff she did in the `80's was better but, still no fan. I only just recently found out that Rupert Hine produced some of her `80's stuff so, I wouldn't mind giving that a listen to see what he did.
