The title says everything. I've known this girl for many months now and have grown to liking her quite a bit. A few months ago I told her how I felt. I was rejected and let it end at that. A few weeks later she begins to talk to me again. My feelings start to return. Over the course of another few months I tell her how I feel again. She says that she loves me as a friend and values my friendship. I let it slide at that but at the same time she's telling me this she also wants me to continue having coffee with her. Though she doesn't show up... Not to mention she flirts lightly with me. I am confused. I only told her my feelings because I felt she wanted to hear them, though I am rejected. I honestly am okay with being rejected. But she says things that make me re think and say, wait, that's not something a friend says. What is going on. I can't understand this person. Often she will sit close to me, and talk with me at great length. Pretty much every day for a few hours. Though when she notices if she's sitting so close she'll get up and just sit on the other side of the room. Am I being toyed with?

Trust me bro, that sh*t is never going to go anywhere, the bitch is just going to string you along while she looks for a better person and all you will ever bee is the fall back guy. What Lumanos and Polaris80 said. You're pretty much her practice guy. She tries what she wants to say to other guys on you first and then gauges her future actions based on your reaction. If you back out of the current relationship she turn into a passive aggressive bitch so its best to ditch altogether.
