You should've clarify your point of view with a better quality. Many people would confuse what you mean.

So; No. i do not text my friends every night and morning to greet them. Regardless of gender. But for your concerns; female friends are included.

I would do this very moderately and not all the time; only with those that i have established the stage of best friends. Yet; regardless of gender but females included too.
