My best friend's boyfriend made a move on me. Should I bust his shady ass?

Recently, my best friend's boyfriend made a move on me. He confessed that he's had a crush on me for a while, then tried to kiss me while his woman was in a different room. They've been dating for a while, and even live together, and for the past few months she's been talking about a future with him. I was drunk at the time, and he was sober, so I feel like he's being extra douchey for taking advantage of the situation. The reason I haven't snitched so far is because she is madly in love with him, and I can totally see her blaming me because she doesn't want to admit he's not perfect. So what do I do... hurt my friend with the truth and potentially lose her friendship and ruin her future plans, or fess up about what a skeeze he is before he starts trying to work the threesome angle?

Ok, so apparently people are misunderstandin my post... we did NOT kiss, he just TRIED to kiss me and I STOPPED him. But I am concerned that he may try to do this again at some point, which is why I'm asking this question in the first place.

this is something I think she may want to know about. what he did or tried to do is a form of cheating. it doesn't matter that he had a crush on you . he was in a relationship with your friend. if he had (this supposed crush) he should have broken up with her before even trying to put any kind of moves on you. (whose to say you were the only one he's ever done that kind of thing with ). this post is 9 months old and isee no recent update so all I can assume is at present nothings been done or you told her and stuff happened.

Don't tell your friend. I think it not's worth it to loose a good friend. Unless if the situation is bugging you that much. Then I guess tell your friend. And don't hang out with her man by yourself, if at all possible.

Please don't be so hard on the guy. I too have been guilty of feeling compulsively attracted to self centered, ultraskank trailer trash with incredibly overreaching opinions of themselves. This is serious but curable affliction that affects both men and women. Thanks to research we now know that everyone needs a good dose of humility every now and then. It all depends on how your friend is and will react if you tell her. If you think its going to backfire on you if you tell her then don't. Just keep your distance from him and avoid being alone with him. Let him know where you stand about the situation. Don't get silent about the situation and act as if it didn't happen because that can backfire as well .

You should tell. Regardless of what happens, if you do the right thing then you'll feel good about it. If she chooses not to believe you then that's on her, at least you'll know you did all you could.

This is a form of cheating. If you're truly a friend, you need to let your friend know, but make sure she knows that you were drunk; also let her know that he was sober.
