Me win $50,000. I would not be selfish with it. I would help them and many others. Also, I am smarter with money than my friends so I could make the $50,000 go further than they could the half million. Finally I would be able to protect my friends from the problems that arise from instant riches.

Can't I just let my best friend win it and then split the $500,000? Even getting 10% of that would give you the same outcome as before, haha. I would give it to my friend either way, even if I wouldn't get anything, we'd be happier off overall.
