Two pit bulls mauled a toddler to death when she fell out of a window and landed in their yard. How was that the owner's fault? They even maul their own sweet old lady owner to death in many cases I've read over the years. These all can't be bad owners.
@Daniela1982 The key part in your response was the toddler LANDED IN THEIR YARD. Yes, it is unfortunate that the toddler fell, but that is the fault of the parents for not being attentive. The Pit Bulls in that scenario saw an intruder to their space and felt the need to protect their space. That is ANY dog's nature. They saw an intruder and attacked the intruder. Not the dog's fault.
@libsaretards That's my point. Many dogs will bark at intruders but not maul them to death. If that were so you would never see UPS or any other delivery company, including your pizza guy, deliver to someone's door. Also you are also saying that their owner who goes out in the yard would be fair game too.
@WowwGirl I have owned both German Shepherds and Pit Bulls. Shepherds are my favorite dogs, but they are more stubborn than Pit Bulls. Both dogs have about the same level of intelligence, with a slight edge in favor of Shepherds. I've had more trouble stopping my Shepherds from attacking others than I have my Pits.
@libsaretards I would hope you would not have trouble with one of your dogs attacking anyone as people here seem to say it is an owner problem, not the dogs.
