The only birthdays I know are my parents and my own, nobody else discloses their birthdates to us. My cousin keeps it secret cause she doesn’t want us to feel obligated to buy her gifts and my other cousin keeps a secret cause he doesn’t want to buy us gifts if we buy him a gift and the rest of the family lives thousands of miles away so we are never around to celebrate each other’s birthdays.
I have a couple of female friends that are like that, continually dropping hints on the lead up to their birthdays. None of my male friends do it though.
I used to be like that, you know when I was a joiner on Facebook. But people still acted like they forgot. There are just some really unkind people out there. So I just don't bother anymore and tbh they also let me know that they still don't care by not bothering at all.
It's my sister. Her birthday is in November. After her birthday she would again start the countdown of 365 days to her next birthday. Few minutes ago she asked me what was my gift to her in her next birthday as a 12 year old. It becomes very annoying.
Yes, an old neighbor. Only gets in contact just before each of their kids birthdays. You moved four years ago people. Your kids don’t even remember us. People are crazy. 🤨
only children do that... i guess my friend is a child then. she loves getting presents. it's pathetic how that's the only thing she values. bet she had a blast on Christmas.
Yes, friends & family. Even worse are those relatives & friends who look forward to my birthday because they're hoping to get invited to any celebration.
I have an uncle and aunt who never forget anyone's birthdays in our family ( far&near relatives) I don't mind it, it actually shows they care about everyone so much.
Lol the only person who remembers my birthday is my secretary, and thats just because its an excuse to have dinner after work. She dosen't get out much since her husband passed away so I indulge this vice for her.
Yes I do— those who announce that it’s their birthday month or whatever. A part of me finds it annoying and the other part of me is glad that people have something to look forward to.
