How do you tell/ show someone you don’t want to message?

This is assuming you don’t want to ghost them or be terribly rude. Always have a few people messaging me constantly I don’t like and I give blunt short answers, don’t ask them questions back and respond hours or days later as you would usually when not interest. Occasionally I’ll tell them I don’t want to message but they still don’t get the hint when I tell them upfront.. then what do you do?

Start with just telling them.
Don't hint, guys usually don't get your hints as a girl, but you don't need to be cruel either, find a middle road.
Tell them that you don't have anything in common, or something like that or that you're not comfortable with talking with them or whatever is the reason why you don't want to talk.
Or just that "I'm sorry, but I don't feel like we're a good match."
If they keep talking with you just tell them that sorry, you don't want to be rude or mean, but you're not really interested.
If that doesn't work be more blunt.
And if that doesn't work just block them.
They've been warned.

Yup pretty specific to few people and not depressed more just bored and lonely I guess who knows

I’ve never met them. And if they ask to meet I say I’m busy. Only messaging I can’t ghost completely
