How can I get my mom to stop lecturing me?

So I tell my mom about mom about one thing but she talks to me about school and I need to do this and that. I'm going for my master's degree. She tells me she's just giving me advice and that nobody's gonna be as nice as her. So yeah I get she tells me stuff because she cares but it comes off as a lecture over the same things. She brings up my brother and cousin that struggle with jobs/career because they didn't do what they were supposed to when they were younger to have better lives. I get life is hard and I'm grateful that she still let's me stay with her and save so I can get my own place. I feel I don't have to struggle to see how hard life is and I'm trying to avoid it. She brings up old stuff and some of the things I did that didn't work out and that people get out of highschool and become nurses at a young age etc. I'm 24 I'm still young but I know I won't be forever, why I'm trying to get my life straight so I won't have to struggle like some family.

Something like that should work. Naturally you should express gratitude and let her know that you’re not angry but also explain to her that it has gotten to a point where it’s become a little too much

I get she cares, I do too it's my life. I'm not mad, it's just that she brings stuff up and compares other people, then she thinks I take offense. Like I get that people struggle, I've struggled with things in the past like I'm grateful for her letting me stay for the time being but still. At least I'm trying to get my degrees.

You'll miss and treasure those lectures once she's passed away. And you'll find yourself saying, "damnit, she was right again," more often than you'd believe right now.
I wish I could get one more lecture from my mother.

Move-out from under their roof and pay your own Rent... support yourself. Otherwise, you must sit down, shut-up, and listen. It is regular life interaction.

I help pay bills, I just don't wanna get lectured all the time. Even if I did move out she'll still do so.

Then what is the point of complaining if you are not going to put physical distance between you two. One can not, not due something because of some imaginary scenario of future... You must actually like it...

Why I'm saving to leave. If I don't like it, I just don't like it. I don't like being lectured

24 is not young by the way and 23 should be the latest departure date. Grad school housing have excellent quiet and adult life roommates... an option !!!

It's not old, but I don't like roommates, my last one wasn't the best.
