My brother and I never shared rooms even when we were younger. I have my own room and he has his (even though he is 23 and does not live at home anymore; he uses it whenever he visits). He is currently visiting and always finishes all my good ice cream. 😂
I feel like it is important for kids to have their own rooms for privacy.
and by kids I mean preteens and teens. Not those below 9. Kids below 9 don't require separate rooms, but it is up to the parents to decide.
Growing up, the eldest sibling had their own room. When they left I had that room.
With my own children, the house was big enough for a room each. However, as a parent I think age 10 is suitable to have their own room, especially if they are the opposite sex.
The rules for UK housing benefits say that mixed genders must share a room aged 0 - 9 and same genders must share under 16.
These age ranges should be considered as a guide to be the worst case scenario.
My sister and I stopped sharing a bedroom after my parents did an addition on the house for their bedroom. So 11-12. Thats when we both starting hitting puberty

In my country, if you live in a big city, like most of us do, homes usually only have 2 bedrooms. That means siblings share the other bedroom and it is common for brother and sister to share a bedroom and even sleep in the same bed.
Do the brother and sister in your example put tape down the middle of the room and always stay on their own sides? Because even then they could still pass dope to each other. And then their inhibitions could be lowered and with their raging hormones combined with their curiosities, what happens next? I'm against this.
I’m not a parent, but my brother and I shared a bedroom whenever we stayed at the family Villa in Ibiza (Spanish island in the Mediterranean), also is SOME hotels while on vacation. But at home, we’ve always had our own bedrooms!
My sister and I have separate bedrooms but there’s a connecting bathroom in between so it’s not entirely private. That’s been loads of fun but now there are times we’d like more privacy. Not sure how that would be with a brother but probably nbd
I shared a room with my older sister. Our oldest brother had his own room.
my kids, girl, boy shared a room till 2 years ago. 13,11
rhey are now 15,13 have their own room.
never a problem.
If i were a parent and had two kids of the opp sex and didn't have a 3rd bedroom yet, I’d prefer they only share a room up until the age of maybe 5-7.
Same sex siblings can share a room until the age of like 16-18 tbh. It all comes down to what the age gap between them is. I wouldn't have a teen share a room with a little kid
My sons have always shared rooms in some flavor; my daughter has always had her own room.
Well my sons r a little over 5 n half only...
Me n my brothers used to share room well into our teens
@Bricealan aww thta so cute
@elizamichale1 of course not true, as I don't have a sister, but thought you would probably like my humor!!! BTY, if I DID have a sister, I probably would, have tried to fuck her. I told you I have a cousin that I have wanted to fuck since I was

@Bricealan i am sorry
When I was 16 and my brother was 17 we shared a bedroom for nearly a year while our house was being built.
I got no kids.
I have a little brother. No we did not share one.
I am 14yrs older than him. I needed my privacy by the time he was born
Growing up my sister, I and my brothers never shared a room. I would share with my sister and my brothers would share together
They should stop sharing a room when one of them hits puberty. But actually, a lot family is here actually share a room because they don't have the privilege to actually have separate rooms.
My sister and I slept together until we were 25! LOLOLOL
Not a parent but if I was I would let them share it no later than age 5.
Yeah, they need their own space by ten if not before. Especially mixed sex siblings. Not everyone can choose to do so of course.
Two daughters shared a room until the oldest was 13
I shared a bed with my sister (we were roommates until I moved out a few weeks ago).
I shared a room with my brother until I turned 11. He’s 8 years younger than me though
My kids never shared a room. We always had a big enough place so they didn't have to
I shared a bedroom with my older sister for a while growing up
