how can you tell if people really care about you?
i dont have many people in life who care about me my dad died 7 years ago.

i have my mom but she is getting older & has health problems i worry.

i just quit my job i felt like my newer boss cared for me but i feel like she just lied so i would stay at the job.

so my question is this how can you tell if people really care about you?

This is kinda a hard question to answer. Yes there are specific things someone may do for a person they care about such as standing up for you when someone else is putting you down, or going out of there way to help you with something that's important to you. The list continues. But when you have someone who cares about you it's just one of those things you can sense from being with the other person. I'm friends with a co worker I've known for years. We're not in any type of romantic relationship but yet we find ourselves thinking about the other often. I love gardening, one day I just got the notion that I wanted to gift this friend a strawberry plant she loved it and it made our friendship stronger. Then 1 day I did something at this job I shouldn't have but it happened and this same co worker-Friend saved my sorry butt. When you get someone who cares you just know. If your struggling with making friends I suggest joining a group that takes part in activities you enjoy.
