My friend wasn't offered accommodation on campus and isn't able to live off-campus. But im living off campus. i did apply for in-campus accommodation in case i want able to get a room outside and i was given room. My friend missed the application date and was unable to get a spot. I felt like it was my fault that she didn't apply for in-campus accommodation on time because i applied for it last minute and forgot to remind her. So she ended up taking my room.
Funny story, she lives near the university. So i asked for her help if she could help take the keys to my apartment. She said that she'd be visiting her aunt and wasn't able to. So my boyfriend took them and i asked her if it was possible for her to take the keys somewhere near her. She said to meet her at a grocery store at 4 and he needs to be quick cause she's in a hurry. But there was a bit of delay and i felt like i was keeping her waiting for too long since she needs to visit her aunt. So i told her to head back to her aunts place. She was there till 6 grocery shopping while her mom did her hair Lol.
But ill give her the benefit of the doubt.
Anyways, tomorrow is registration day. My friend asked me if i could register the dorm early for her. I told her i can only come once im done sorting my stuff out with my parents at my new place. She started getting mad, telling me all the good rooms are gonna be taken and she's gonna end up in a nasty room. I told her there's nothing i can do, and ill try my best. I also said, if she wants to register early she could register on behalf of me (which i dont know if thats possible) she said it would be a waste of her time if they didn't let her register. (Then just wait?)
Honestly, it feels like im obligated to do this for her instead of it feeling like im doing a favour for her. I could just not register myself and there's nothing she'll just end up without a room. :/
