I'm currently in 12th grade (17 years old) and this female classmate was trying to tell others about a 5 year-old event about how I once farted in the class and other things. She was trying to still pull the same BS as when we were 12 year-olds in 7th grade. She succeeded back them and I was the laughing stock of the class. Middle school was a horrible time for me.
Somehow she got placed into my AP biology class. It didn't work. Someone told her ''Grow up already, who cares if she passes gases. Everyone does'', two others told her ''Why are you bringing up a 5 year-old event'' and others ignored her. I told her off too and said ''enough already, let it go. We're not in junior high anymore.'' She angrily got back to her seat and said nothing the entire day. The people are mainly focusing on their college applications and preparing for their SAT and ACT exams.
Honestly do some people just never grow up? She's already 17 (nearly 18) and still into trying to create a bullying scene, still at that age, still trying to pull the same BS but failed this time.

Because they don't or enjoy that stage of life and feel no need to change
That's sad. She's stuck at 7th grade (stuck at the time we were 12-13 year-olds) and doesn't realize her old tricks don't work anymore.
Thats not a thing children do, its a thing stupid people do.
You don't outgrow stupidity.
Yes and it's pathetic that she still thinks what she did back then is a laughing matter, still hates me for no apparent reason. I've received apologies from a couple others that were jerks back then in middle school; 3 of them I've now friends with. No one (except her) finds it funny.
I love it!
What's there to love about someone that's immature and stuck at 7th grade mentality?
