Actually... I have called in sick for week at a time, my sick leave is very flexible, as is vacation. I'm psyched about my pay raise and review every year... phenominal... 200% every year. Trouble is it starts at $0/hour.

Only a few times when I was really sick or having terrible period cramps I made my husband stay home but I still had to care for the baby cause i breastfeed. There really is never time for a full day off to relax
interesting the baby has to eat, even if mom sick. I hadn't thought of that reality. fascinating it's still healthy for the baby.
Yes the immune system lowers during breastfeeding so that the mom gets sick before the baby and produces antibodies so the milk is similar to a vaccine and prevents the baby from getting sick
