I’m not talking about Santa or the Easter bunny! I’m talking about telling you you’re smart but later you find out you’re a dummy, or how attractive you are, only to find out later, you’re ugly AF! For me, it was lying about how I “sing like a canary”! Then, of course, when I went out for chorus in fifth grade, I was laughed off stage! I talked to dear old mom tonight and reminded her of that! I ended up hanging up on her! I’ve been carrying that grudge for 18 years!
