It doesn't matter because fashion trends are always changing. A master of fashion from the 90's would have horrible tastes picking clothes in the modern Era as their expertise was in 90's clothing.
And not only that, but sometimes it's a matter of who wears the clothes. A ridiculously hot person can look good in just about anything. Yet simultaneously you could take the latest clothes style off of a mannequin and slap it on Sloth from the Goonies and it won't make him handsome.
It is who wears the fashion, not how the fashion wears you
Yes, I have a very good sense of what is in style, what is generally fashionable, and which articles of clothing pair well together. However, I am hesitant to spend the money required to be fashionable, and I am often deterred from wearing fashionable clothing due to lack of comfort.

True, money and comfort can be two things that get in the way of wanting to be fashionable.
Hell yes, I've got style for days. I also dress in all sorts of different styles. Sometimes I look like a tomboy with a plaid shirt, jeans sneakers and a beanie. Other days I'll be dressed to the nines rocking some or other maxi dress with splits up the thighs and heels. Then I'll combine the two styles or give boho vibes. I'm honestly comfortable in pretty much anything , so I'm always experimenting with my wardrobe.

That's so cool. Where do you look for inspiration?
Well there's a website WGSN. com that we use at the university then there is also just Google π. Oh I don't think you can access WGSN without paying though.
God no, i wear what I LIKE not what is in fashion lol, i use to get stared at because of the way i dress, i've tonned it down a lot now but i still wear some different type outfits because i like them
I mostly wear $10 tee shirts with $15 jeans and I like it. I'm thinking of casually wearing dark denim jeans, with my brown suede oxfords and some button up dress shirts to be a bit more dapper. I'm not done growing yet, so it doesn't make sense to get my clothes tailored yet, so everything's still kinda loose, but it's still an upgrade.

Would you like it perfectly tailored once the growing process slows down?
I'd rather have a few well-fitting clothes than to have a whole wardrobe of things that are only passable or mediocre. Timeless quality over cheap quantity any day of the week. "Fashionable" clothes tend to be made with low-quality fabrics and the workmanship is often very shoddy - why? Because they know that anyone who follows "fashion" is just going to go and buy next season's trends, so such people wouldn't really mind paying top dollar for low quality clothes.
I have this fucking problem with me that I have very very high standards when it comes to anything and that's why my wardrobe is not crazy full of stuff cuz I prefer quality over quantity. It also helps a lot to connect with a girl on general basis but you got haters every where that will call you anything and I am not talking about idiotic fashion choices like wearing pink shirts. I should be elegant, looks like descent and of course BRAND.
I think so, but suffer from fashion laziness and not giving a shit, need to fix that, if traveling abroad, I look sharp, at home I shop for groceries in flip flops and sweat pants, shameful
It can, if it looks like there is a reason you are wearing sweatpants & flip flops, or donβt have to by showing something, to prove that, like nice abs or something, or getting back from yoga class, etc
My fashion basically consists of whatever is on top of the pile of clothes. I wouldn't say I have a good fashion sense. But do I care? No, not really. I look fine
omgg I wishh!!! ughh haha Im not like terribe terrible at dressing but I don't know how people know whats like fashionable or what I usually just wear similar stuff to my friends
I literally don't care about it most of the time. My wardrobe decisions mostly come to this. Open drawer, grab clothes I like, wear it because it fits.
Considering most of my clothes get ruined at work I don't focus on fashion. If I need to get clothes for a special occasion I have a female friend send me pictures of what to buy.
But I donβt go overboard Actually right now Iβm on a basics trend... so Iβm just dressing with basics, basic colours like white grey and black... and loving it hahah
