Are women more attractive than men because they're allowed to grow their hair out? Or are men just as attractive with their shorter hair?

Are women nurtured to find shorter (not too long) hair on men more attractive? For example, bald, military cut, buzz cut, boy cut (hair no longer than ear length), etc.

Are men nurtured to find longer (not too short) hair on women more attractive? For example, pig tails, pony tails, buns, knots, dress left, dress right, bob style, girl cut (hair no shorter than ear length), etc.

I must add that it seems that girls and women are allowed to have similar hairstyles throughout her life, whereas for boys and men? The same cannot and will not be said. So are women more attractive than men because of this? Or is it the same?

I don't believe women are biologically more appealing then men, I think they only reason they are viewed as more attractive is they tend to be fitter, a lot of men think its okay to eat fries and gravy if they are smart cause they can marry a girl that is less intelligent but more attractive while women are less likely to eat pork rinds cause they know it has a bigger effect on their prospects.

I also agree that women are "allowed to grow their hair out", because their battle with their parents, partner and social pressure is much smaller than men's.

I totally disagree that there may be any comparation between the attractiveness of women and men, because each gender has its type of attractiveness.
