Girls, when you hit a guy in the arm after he makes you laugh, is it a subconcious thing?

Or are you actually trying to get a message across and make an effort to hit him? This girl used to "swing" her hand close to my arm when I made a joke but yesterday she actually gave me a good slap lol. Do you go around hitting anybody that makes you laugh or is there a special meaning behind it.

Everyone is different, but I'd hate to see what happens to you if you make her mad, lol! When a guy makes me laugh, I usually cover half my face cause I'm laughing, turning red, whatever. But I've seen girls hit guys for being funny. I think they're demanding type of person.

Haha k most girls do this because it's a chance to touch you and show that they appreciate your joke.. but I don't know about fully slapping. It's more of a touching your arm.. it's a bit weird if she's fully slapping you but I guess she just got carried away?

Yeah, I definetely felt that touch lol. I've had a girl laugh and touch my arm like saying "that was good" but she just slapped me in the shoulder, didn't hurt but I did feel it haha. I've known her for a while and we never were touchy feely. Recently I guess I developed feelings for her and I kinda touch her shoulder or play with her hair a bit and she started hitting me playfully, could I be right to assume she likes it?

Well I mostly only do that to guys. Especially if I like him. It could really go either way, there is no set reason for every single girl. She might like you and it could be a reason to touch you, or maybe she is just doing that as a friendly action.
