What do you say when a girl complements your looks?

Now I am in no ways really good looking. But after hitting the gym for few months I have drastically changed my looks.
And as a process I have been getting complements on my fitness improvements by many friends.
However as I am naturally a shy person and NOT AT ALL used to being complemented (abusive past) I often blank out when a girl complements me.
For example recently I made friends with a pretty attractive girl online and she said I look good and have good dressing sense.
To which I just replied with "haha thanks!" Did that come of as too bland. What are some witty things I can say when a girl comply me?
