I’ve been really good friends with this girl (let’s call her Abbey) who’s really good friends with my crush. Me and my crush make eye contact but never speak as we are both really shy. I’m pretty sure she likes me back.
Abbey occasionally brings her up and talks about things they do together as if I’m really good friends with my crush (I haven’t told her).
Today, we were joking about my guy friend and another girl getting together as this other girl hopelessly likes my friend but he doesn’t like her back too much.
Abbey stated how she and my crush always wonder if they’re together which we laughed over. I then joked “yeah those two would look good together”.
She then said “yeah we‘ll have to do some matchmaking…”
At the time, I didn’t think much of this but now I think of it, was she trying to drop a hint?
