Guys, Is my boyfriend getting female attention out of his control or does he start it?

Ok so usually I don't really go anywhere and when I do I go with my boyfriend like to the store or other places but mostly to the store, so anyway I don't know whay my boyfriend gets so much attention from women, I don't know if it's how he carries himself or his confidence or if he's just a big boy and women like that, he's muscular in the arms, but anyway when we go to store every women turns and stair and sometimes I catch it and sometimes I don't and what he will do is smile at me and tell me when we leave, like yesterday we went to the store and a women in sweatpants and her hair a mess walked passed me and my boyfriend was behind me and started walking next to me and he looked at me and smiled and I thought it was because I walked with confidence and he was laughing/smiling at that but when I asked him what he said that lady and I guess she looked at him all cute or some shit, but I don't know of its bc he's doing it like he looks at them and catch them and smiles or it's just the woman are attracted to him, but they always try to talk to him and he let's them like just a talk and I don't like it and I've told him multiple times like this one women he let's talk to him and I told him and he says it's out of his control? But is it?
