So I met this guy through a friend, gave him my number and we texted all the time. Our first date we went and saw a movie and we were cuddling and I kissed him on the lips. Okay so I invited him to a party because I didn't know anyone there and I didn't want it to be boring so I invited him...At the party he was all over me. I was kinda drunk ,more like tipsy...but that wasn't why he was all over me. He was all over me because he likes me and now all of a sudden he just wants to be my friend. WTF I just don't get it...HELP I really like this guy and I thought he really likes me too...& I know he really wants to be in a relationship but why didn't he ask me? We were hella into each other...but now I just don't get it

he still wants to be my friend and hang out with me. He wants to take me out for my 21st birthday. Is that weird? Why does he still want to hang out with me AS a friend? Should I invite another friend along so it doesn't get awkward?

Guys tend to want relationships less than women (but they want sex) and because they tend to make the first move with women they can habitually put themselves out there with many women even simultaneously. Go watch a nature show and you can see how 8 zebras will chase one female and them move to the next female. In a lot of ways guys can be this way. I'm not saying he doesn't like you or that he isn't possibly interested. I think it takes a lot of guys longer to know if they really want a relationship.

He might want to hit rewind and get to know you more properly. Its probably a good sign, because it means you've been upgraded from one-night-stand to potential girlfriend.
