I met this guy at a party last weekend (21st) and we had a blast all night. We ended up exchanging fb and he asked for my phone # and I gave it to him. Unfortunately we live about 2 hours away.

Then I don't hear from him for 8 days, then yesterday he fb messages me "*things, things, jokes from the other night, you're pretty awesome and I had fun etc.* I'll give you a shout if I'm ever in your area! If you want to meet up or something let me know #hisphonenumberhere"

Is he interested or not that interested really? Should I call him? Why would he give me his number instead of just calling me?

It seems as if he'd like to keep you as a distant friend.

He wants to keep it touch with you and hang out with you if he's ever around.

To make plans you'd have to call him. (He sounds as someone that wants to keep you as a friend, but you never know if something more can develop out of it).

He's so cool he can't be bothered. No not sure though. Maybe he just didn't want to impose. I think its just part of the dating game, if your interested let him know and he'll see what happens but your not the only girl he's worried about.
