How do girls try and make guys jealous?

How do girls try to make a guy they like jealous? Would they flirt with a lot of guys or just one in particular? There is this girl and I knew she liked me. But as we started to talk more, she started showing less signals to me and started talking to this guy who she knew liked her. The thing is she has mentioned him before in our conversations. I don't know if she doesn't like me anymore or she is trying to get me to make a move.

Usually if I want to make a guy I like jealous, I just won't make myself as availible. I won't text or call or make an effort to see them. Then when he comes around I'll allude to being busy but won't go into details. I could have done nothing but sat around in my sweatpants watching movies and I'll let him think I was out on the town having a blast with *gasp* other guys.

I like to let them do the work, and fill in the details themselves. Usually does the trick if they are the jealous type. If they are not, oh well, it's not like I put a lot of effort into trying to make them jealous.

This is exactly what I do! That way you never feel like you're coming across as clingy or desperate too which a lot of girls accidentally can do.

It's easier for her to make your jealous with someone who likes her. It seems less fake. I tried a few times to make my crush jealous with a guy who liked me and always called me darling. My crush was definitely jealous

But do you think she would go so far as to do things like looking or staring at that guy to get me jealous? Or does that mean she has genuine feelings for him?

I personally don't like making people jealous because I hate the feeling of jealousy myself. In one instance where I tried to make someone I liked really jealous, I flirted with a mutual friend of ours who we both knew had strong feelings for me. It's much easier to make someone jealous when you use someone else who's affection and attention you don't necessarily have to work for.

Yeah! Thts exactly what she's doing. But I'm not sure if she's really into him. I've seen her stare/steal glances at him like twice? But that was when I was directly behind her so I'm not sure

You should talk to her. Tell her you like her and ask her how she feels about you. Make your move and be as direct as possible. Despite how hard that may be it's the only way to give yourself peace of mind, if this is really bothering you. You might find that this is her strange way of telling you she likes you but wants you to take the first step or drag it out of her.

The thing is she used to be really obvious like doing a lot of things to get my attention. So I don't understand why as we talk me then she is becoming colder?

She probably wants you to dote on her. She likely wants your attention but wants to act as though she doesn't. It's really weird, but girls do this a lot. It's a very bad thing so you shouldn't condone it.

So you mean that at first when she didn't have my attention she tried to get it and once she started to get it she wanted me to continue giving it to her?

Exactly 0: I can't explain why it happens... I just know that it does happen and it's one of those crazy things people do when they like someone. You should definitely make your move for better or worse.

That is actually possible, but if you don't act based on that assumption you could miss your opportunity at happiness with a girl you like. Just talk to her and I'm sure so many things will be cleared up.

Just one more question do girls purposely physically bump into a guy they like? Because we were at a class event and she walked past me to go talk to that guy. But on the way she knocked into me without saying anything

Well I really hope this goes well. It has been bugging me all the time. And I knew she liked me. So if she has moved on and started liking the other guy it would be my fault for not making a move :(

@kaihleyz kinda funny that you girls do that, because oftentimes adults will conclude there's better fish in the sea. Fish that does not need to be annoying and create drama by doing things like that.
