Does the power/ strength of the male body scare you?

Ok so my question is as the title says, does the strength/ power of the male body sometimes scare you knowing what it's capable of?
I'm a natural bodybuilder/powerlifter (I do it for a hobby and to look hot as shit)
Anyways sometimes when i'm in the gym and i lift freakishly heavy weight i sometimes wonder if it scares girls what guys can be capable of in that regard.
Also many guys can not look that strong but then have crazy strength.
like do girls ever see a guy on the street and feel really intimidated and scared? Or do you find them attractive cause you feel they can protect you?

When I watch the World's Strongest Men competitions it does sometimes occur to me that these monsters are out there somewhere, lol. You wouldn't want to get into a grapple with some of those giants.

However, one thing that the rise of MMA has taught people is that strategy can easily overcome core physical attributes. You only have to watch the UFC to see big punchers being submitted, wrestlers being knocked out, boxers being taken down and pounded on. Core strength can be overcome by speed and agility. Besides which, you are often only as strong as your chin and a good boxer can put bodybuilders to sleep before they ever get to flex a bicep.

If you assumed big strong guys are scary and dangerous you'd be paranoid. If you assumed a smaller framed guy who isn't all that strong Is less dangerous you'd be naive.

It's a persons mind that scares me. Some of the most dangerous people are cunning manipulators. They come in all shapes and sizes. You don't need to have physical strength or be big to be dangerous and scary

In 'civilised' society, there's less of a context to use physical power to your advantage. The real danger is in psychological and social power; think cliquishness, bullying and bitchiness in an office; particularly because it's so subtle, underhand and less overt, but comes from an equally malicious place. Even the perpetrators aren't fully aware that they're being huge bastards. Also, stereotypically, women are more likely to use the latter means.

That's true.

One of the most dangerous people I know personally is a 5'2 woman who's is quite slim. She's devious , manipulative and cunning but yet earns people's trust very easily. Not many people have any idea how dangerous she is until they suffer at her hands. She's gotten many people into serious trouble and she doesn't use physical strength to do it.

No, it's always been an attractive thing to me. I've never felt fear about a bigger, stronger guy because I've never put myself in the position to feel afraid (being alone before building some trust, or walking alone after dark etc) so it's never really crossed my mind to be afraid of a guys strength in that way

It scares me if the person is a stranger or someone I don't know very well because I don't know if they would hurt me or not. If I know the person and know that he wouldn't ever hurt me then I don't find it scary. My boyfriend is super strong and I love it. It's one of the reasons I feel super safe around him.

Not really, I have 4 brothers all over six feet and I've been told their intimidating as hell. So growing up around that, I fear emotional lashings more than physical strength... I'm used to being rough housed but as for insults... my mum doesn't talk much.

I've found over the years that guys are just as scared of me as I am of them even though I had to quit weight training when I was 21 due to back injuries. Being guys, they know that I'm capable of possibly killing them them, if necessary, so they don't mess with me. And the understanding is mutual, so it's a standoff. Mutual respect defuses a world of problems.

Personally, female anger scares me more than male strength. If she's violent by nature than she doesn't care how big or strong you are and she doesn't realize that you could probably kill her with with one punch. If she's crazy then she's coming after you. If I'm ever attacked again than it will probably be by a women again...

Intimidated? Hell no. The bigger they are the harder they fall. I'm not afraid of guys like this. I also don't scare easily.

My mom always tells me I'm the type of person who thinks nothing bad can happen to them but I feel like im more then capable of defending myself.

Nope, im a gymnast and exathlete. Used to be really good too. So im really flexible and fast so i can wrestle guys well and often win just by outmanouvering and stuff. A singular hit would down me but besides that im fast and suple enough to be more than capable of protecting myself.

But like, you can't hit someone who's better than you and a single punch won't kill unless it's into a certain location on the body and medical help doesn't assist. The average guy i can easily beat in a fight, i wrestle my flatmates for fun and i nearly always win.

She floored me with one shot. She put me in the hospital, and in more pain than you can imagine. It took me 6 weeks to recover from that debacle and now I'm sterile (no kids). So I know for a fact that some women can open up a mean can of whoop ass, and I respect that. However, you come off as thinking that you're some kind of super-girl. Of course, size and strength means a lot, but most guys can't use it efficiently. Girls can equalise to a degree providing they focus on internal as well as physical power. Most guys are just physical.

@Levin I know that female gymnasts are strong, but they are also short and light. So she'd better know what she's doing if some guy 50 or 100 pounds heavier than her gets her on the ground. In this case, a big guy doesn't even need to use his size and strength efficiently to kill her just buy sitting on her and crushing death. It's happened before. If her strikes and her defense aren't perfect than she'll get mauled. On the other hand, the guy can just go crazy and he'll be very hard to stop even if he takes a few hits.

Concerning the video that I posted? I agree! The guy shouldn't have punched her in the face. That was horrible. However, I posted that video to illustrate just how much damage a grown man can inflict with one punch. Also, after an investigation our state prosecutor decided not to press criminal charges. They say that he acted in self defense.

@castratedwhiteguy Fair do's, I agree :) The only point I wanted to make that just because the guy is bigger doesn't *necessarily* mean he will win. In general though, yes, it's hard to counter that kind of physical power, no matter how well you are trained.
