If a girl lets you cuddle her, does that mean she likes you?

i've known this girl all my life and whenever we stay at each other houses, and we end up sleeping next to each other, we cuddle. This has been going on for years and I'm wondering if the fact that she lets me cuddle and caress her means she likes me? Or does she just see me as a comfortable friend? I also don't get the feeling she lets any other guy do this as she's very cautious and reserved when it comes to guys. We've been doing this for years and have never spoken about our feelings for each other. The last time we cuddled I had it in mind that I was going to kiss her, but before I did she fell asleep. That was a bad night. And I've regretted not doing it sooner since... Are there any signs that can help figure out how she feels about me?

Well, technically from my prospective - i will allow a guy to cuddle me - when i am miserable. but i won't tell him.
now, i need to ask you something - my ex never cared about my bad breath when he more or less kissed me all the time when i was asleep.
does that bother you while you kiss someone while they are asleep?
i mean the bad breathe part.

I think that's a sure sign he liked and cared for you a lot. If the girl I'm talking about had bad breath and we kissed, I wouldn't mind that at all because I'd be happy enough knowing that we were kissing if that makes sense.

It's more like spooning with my arm around her and my hand caressing her neck. Or her in my chest and me lightly scratching her back and arms.

You don't need any more signs than this. This kind of cuddling is more intimate than most girls will do with anyone unless they are physically attracted. Go for it!

There are a few girls who want to be held and will let a guy do this because it satisfies their need. They don't care if they are sending a misleading signal and it is a somewhat selfish behavior. If she is not a selfish person in that way, then she likes you.
