If a girl says you make her uncomfortable does that mean she’s not interested?

I was friends with this girl and after a while she started acting different towards me. She apparently said I make her uncomfortable so I felt really bad and gave her space and ignored her. I thought she would like that but she got mad I ignored her and she started to linger around me/kind of chase me?
If a girl is uncomfortable around a guy what does that mean? I thought it meant she’s not interested so why would she act this way after I ignored her?

Lol the first time I started to have feelings with my best friend who is now my boyfriend... I guess she may have feelings for you but just doesn’t know? She’s still figuring it out. Don’t ignore her. Just be there for her and honestly talking does not hurt. If u guys are close, then talk it out.

You won’t know unless you try. There is no other way around to know than by talking to her. Do you like her too or not really? If not really, then just let it be the way it is, don’t do things that she said make her feel uncomfortable and give her attention like you did

Yeh I really like her and I’m not sure if that’s what makes her uncomfortable. But I have a feeling she may like me as well so not sure why she would get uncomfortable. Like if she didn’t like me at all why would she be bothered I ignored her
