Is this strange behaviour?

One of my female friends has started persisting that I get my boyfriend to play video games with her online, though she’s never met him (I keep my friends and love life separate for the most part). I keep telling her I don’t think it’ll happen, my boyfriend is very introverted and in general doesn’t like people, but she keeps persisting that she wants someone to play 2 specific games with and she knows that he owns those 2 games (I’ve mentioned it in the past). I keep reminding her that I also own those games and play them, and I’d be happy to play with her, but she’s not interested. Only interested in playing them with my boyfriend. I’m seriously at a loss - is this an innocent attempt at trying to get on the good side of my boyfriend before officially meeting him, or is there some other motive?

It's kinda rude that she doesn't want to play with you and wants to play with him instead. But maybe your boyfriend is really good at those games, better than you maybe so that could be a reason why she wants to play with him. Either way proceed with caution..

She wouldn’t know that though, which is why I’m confused. They’ve never spoken, I’ve never introduced her to him. She only knows that he has those games because I told her I made him get them so that me and my boyfriend had games to play together.

Very out of character. She actively avoids men, she has a lot of trauma with men in the past and she’s lesbian - so I know she’s not trying to steal my man, but I don’t know what else her motive is?
