Girls, Girls have you ever felt the desire to impress or 'show off' to guys you are interested in?

As a guy i've had the desire to show off to women im into all the time lol. and i know many other guys like doing this too.

I just wonder if women ever desire to do the same thing or if this is just a guy thing?

could be things like playing an instrument in from of a guy, doing some kind of gymnastics or dances... stuff like that

You see this question is a simple answer yes girls well females are all known to try hard when it comes to impressing someone they like. For example when I had a crush on a co worker of mine I would try and impress him by talking to him about my interests there was even a time where I wanted to impress him soo badly I showed him a video of me dancing just to get his reaction… I even went as far as to express to him that I can design and decorate for a birthday party… of course being a try hard dosnt work because at the end of the day all he did was end up hurting me he did show a sign of interest but I don’t know what happened after. Point is females wether your a adult or a teen become more likely to be sensitive and vulnerable around guys they like.

Sure I have, I would bet that MOST women have, especially during our teen years. Girls can feel even MORE insecure than boys, during the early to mid teens, and in some people even into the late teens and early twenties. That’s why the suicide rate for girls is higher than that of boys! Believe it or not, girls can be even more cruel to their peers, especially other girls. The amount of judgmentalism between us girls is massive, toxic, and downright disgusting and cruel!

Yeah, but it never seems to work out, haha.

I remember the last guy I liked, I tried to impress him by baking for him (fyi- I hate cooking so if I make something for someone, I really like them), lifting weights/working out around him, getting high scores or getting achievements in video games...

Nothing. Had no effect at all. Goes back to the whole, "If someone doesn't like you, no matter what you say or do will have an effect on them," so I stopped trying to impress people that obviously weren't into me.

Yup, I've done that before. Dress to impress, that kind of thing. In my experience guys like it when you do something extra for them like that.
