Girl asked me if I have a crush on her. Why did she ask that?

I think she found that out because i get nervous around her and she also asked me a week ago why i get nervous.

Today we were talking and out of the blue she asked me “do you have a crush on me?”. hearing that made me freeze up and i didn't know what to say, so i was just quiet. Then she said “why are you so nervous?” And i said “i dont know”.

why would she ask me that?
