How do I let go of someone just using me for attention or lying?

She doesn't reciprocate anything I do and I always have to initiate first. At the beginning my friends caught her checking me out several times and she acted very nervous around me and still does. So I asked her out where she said that she didn't view me that way and was being friendly and had someone else. Okay I thought I just wished her well and end of story. After that, instead of respectfully leaving me alone she would sit near me and on my table directly opposite me. She'd also move close to me (lean into me), play with her hair and adjust her clothes when she saw me. It was really funny because when she saw me her whole body language changed and she started acting nervous. I was still hurt about the rejection but still said hi and thanks and that's it. So I'm going to guess she's either lying (play some sort of game) she likes me or just using me for attention. So what would be the best methods of moving on?

It takes time my man. You have to understand this is in your head. I'm not saying your feelings weren't real. I'm just saying she didn't reciprocate those feelings. And yeah she might have led you on or you might have misinterpreted her based on her actions. Either way the best thing you can do is make yourself scarce. Don't talk to her, don't associate with her. If she talks to you give her short one word answers. For the moment you have to protect you. The way she reacts will determine if she was ever a friend to begin with. If she's a good person she'll realize you've been hurt, and give you time to deal with it. If she's not a good person she'll be offended and possibly angry that you're doing this.

Good luck man! I promise it'll get better with time and space between her.

Find yourself a new girl to crush on and take your mind off the current girl. And realize that she is not good for you.

act like you dont care about her and move on that's the only thing you can do
