Just started pumping iron at a gym but it’s not for the girls only. I’m doing it for myself which is most important.

YES!
I'll be honest, as a gymrat, of course I'm going to be more attracted to fit guys. That is not to say I would not date a guy without muscles. Heck my exes and some of my former crushes ranged from toothpicks (very skinny) to obese! Meaning contrary to what most people think, personality, confidence, and how you are also play a role in attraction.
But I just prefer guys with muscles because for me- that shows he's patient, persistent, and values his health and body. Building muscle and staying in shape is NOT easy... believe me, I know; I'm constantly working on my body as well. So if a guy is able to build muscle and stay in shape of course I'm going to be attracted to him and his determination. The nice body is just an added bonus
To me, yes. And I am trying to lose weight myself.
Good luck on your training

Some women will say yes. Others will lie. (Or be in denial)
Fact of the matter is, muscles activate a primal instinct in the human brain, they shift what you're seen as.
Attraction is very chemical and irrelevant of social norms and conventions which is why people can never control who they find attractive.
Being muscular makes you appear as fittest to survive, in a primal environment you would be a suitable mate as you are capable of protecting your family. And while today muscles are irrelevant to self preservation, the perception is still there
I meani don't get into muscle bound chicks, thst spends hours a day at the gym, drinking protein powders and supplements. Not only do they not look that sexy to me, I just am not interested in that type of life style. I want a women who's going to want to spend her time going out and doing shit outside the gym, and not stressing about carbs or picking at a salad everything we go out.
So I will assume most women feel the same way... there's a healthy balance and approach to physical fitness, and like you said your doing it for you. Because your pretty important to yourself, and gym types that really put everything into working out... tend to be slightly more self centered.
Totally depends. I like guys with a bit of muscle, but not to the point is 100% muscle and they feel hard and super defined. Like, I like toned arms and a bit of size there but not overly huge or super defined if that makes sense. I like a bit of softness too.
Yes, to a point. Being in excellent condition and having well developed muscles is very attractive. However, being in excellent condition and having well developed muscles doesn't imply a guy has big muscles. Bulging muscles that make a guy appear he is on steroids is not attractive.
I'm at a point in life where I don't care about the muscles, the looks all that much. What I really care about is his character, if he's a family kind of man, husband material. There are tons of fuck boys out there trying to look good for females, trying to impress with their dick, ya’ll that eventually gets old quick! I dont care about your muscles if you aren't a good person
most girls like fit guys, but often not as fit as guys imagine we like. that guy but his abs slightly less swole would be the ideal
Yes buuuut to an extent. If he is overly strong, to the point he could snap one's finger like it's a twig, he's too strong, aaand I'm gonna run away
muscles will make a guy more attractive to the people that are attracted to the muscular type, yes...
for those that are not into the muscles thing... it will not make a difference
I personally don't find huge bulging muscles attractive. I'm more into the lean muscle type. As long as you're taking care of yourself, that's really what matters.
It is a subjective thing honestly. I've got friends who like guys who are skinny, some like muscular guys, some like dad bods. Everyone's different.
People have different preferences and different ideas of beauty.
I just watched a video called "Boy Toy."
It was about male strippers. When the bunch took off their police uniforms, they looked ripped beyond belief, and the women went wild. But they sure didn't look like body builders. Yuck.
Never really paid much attention to serious muscles on a guy... that said, I hate guys with beer bellies !!!
I think yes muscles do make a man look more attractive. I believe many women dislike overweight bodies on men. I know this doesn’t sound pleasant to hear but I still think it is true.
Yes, like the picture you posted, but guys can take it TOO far with body building, they begin to look like some kind of alien, it’s gross!
I personally like a guy who is fit because it means he takes care of himself and exercises. I'm not into huge muscles though.
personally i love muscles
i love the contrast
Don't have to, some guys have big muscles and a baby face lol
I hate muscles. I don't like skinny, either.
We tend to want girls slim, but not too skinny.
Them tending to want guys strong but not too buff makes absolutely perfect sense.
Perfectly balanced.
i prefer skinny guys or medium build to stalky guys, but i don't really like the buff look
Well i actually like guys to have leaness and have some muscles but not too much
Kind of. But he's not handsome it's not going to make much difference to me.
They're attracted to healthy physique. That being athletic and fit naturally musclar correlates with strength and protection
They do like low body fat. It makes your face hotter. If you have a big chest they get jealous. If you have developed abs theyll imagine your penis
If you have big Arms they imagine you throwing them around
No, girls are really into guys that are at least as large as Santa Claus.
They do but they are not the deciding factor ya
Absolutely.
No workout, no girls.
In my opinion, yes.
