Basically me and my girlfriend have been together for 4 and 1/2 months. Everything is wonderful and we're so compatible, it's like we were meant for each other. I've told her "I love you" 2 months into the relationship, and she excitedly say it back with a big kiss afterwords.
We cuddle and hold hands a lot, which she initiates all the time. She also likes to stare at me for no reason, and when I ask her what's up, she simply shakes her head, say's "nothing" and smiles.
She's told me that she worries a lot that she'll do something or I'll find out something about her that will make me not like her anymore and will cause me to leave her. I remember recently while we were just talking about the future and such, that she started crying because of these worries. I keep telling her that I love her and that's she's being ridiculous for worrying. She also said she was failing in love with me since our first date.
Just the other day, she's been telling me that she wants to keep me and that we should stay together forever.
I'm in love with this girl, but all this talk about staying together forever is scaring me. It's only 3 and 1/2 months and it's way too early to be feeling that way right?
She's also been hurt by all her ex-boyfriends, all of which have treated her like ****. She's told me that I'm best boyfriend she's ever had simply because I'm just genuinely nice, caring, and I treat her like a princess, the way all girls should be treated. Her dad also left her when she was really young.
So is she in love with me as a person or is she just in love with what I represent, which is the nice, romantic, and caring boyfriend that she has always wanted?
