My ex accepted my friend request but hasn't messaged me... why?

He dumped me about 2 months ago, heartbroken I deleted him off Facebook but overall not a bad breakup. I added him a couple days ago because I wanted to try being friends (we do go to the same college after all).

He accepted right away but hasn't messaged me to see how i'm doing or anything. Why would he accept my request so quickly if he didn't want to talk? Do you think he wants to remain friends or is he so over me that he doesn't even care whether or not he has me as a friend.

Is it a bad idea to message him... i don't want to give him the satisfaction of him thinking im not over him. guys/girls. help?

Don't think becaus he accept your friend mesage on Facebook he wants to have someting again.
And maybe becaus he accepted it so quickly that he was that moment on the pc?
And why would he want to talk?

No it isn't a bad idea to message him, but take it easy.

yea your right - now i feel crazy haha. but i always assumed guys wanted to know how their ex-gf's were doing? especially since it has been awhile since we haven't talked. But i guess that's not always true?

If you don't get it: Nothing can be sayed for everyone. So it could be that some guys do, but others not. Get the point?

Okay relax just cause he accepted your friend request doesn't mean he wants to rekindle a romance or be friends he probably just accepted without thinking anything of it and yeah it would be weird if you messages him just try move on

It's very easy and low-thought to accept a friend request. I don't talk to many of my friends on facebook.
