Silence while cuddling?

Whenever the guy i'm seeing and I meet up we usually end up cuddling a lot. We talk a lot too but sometimes we end up laying there in silence for a couple moments. I don't feel uncomfortable while that happens. He sometimes picks up a conversation again or just keeps holding me. Why do people cuddle in silence and what does it mean?

Sometimes the person is so comfortable to cuddle with that you want to take a few moments to be silent and enough the peace and comfort while it lasts. My girlfriend falls asleep on me when this happens quite a bit xD

A pillow may be comfortable but with another person, especially someone close to you, it's almost too divine to even move, let alone talk :3 I'm surprised you haven't thought about falling asleep on him a couple of times xD

Comfortable silence is actually difficult to achieve but is a very good thing. It means you are secure and comfortable just being with the other person. There is no urge to talk nonsense to fill the gap of awkward silence. It's a very good and intimate thing.

If its comfortable silence, that's good. I think a small amount of silence is good when cuddling - it just feels good. I really think its a good thing.
