Guys, accidental burp in mid-conversation?

Today at work I was sitting with a work mate (a guy) side by side looking at the same computer screen. I was mid-sentence when a small but audible burp came out, I just said "pardon me" and kept talking. He didn't react at all but I could help but wonder what he was thinking. Guys, what would you think?

I briefly looked over what the guys said, and it looks like the general consensus is it was no big deal. I would trust them on that.

This reminds me of an episode of Sex in the CIty where SJP's character farted in bed with her boyfriend and she felt humiliated. But the fact was, it was no big deal. Women are humans just like men. We're gonna end up having bodily noises too sometimes. Hopefully we just do it with a little more grace. ;-)

As he gives you a quick hug - you erupt in to a massive choking fit. How would you like that one, because that happened to me two weeks ago. Fuck.

Yeah that is embarressing!!! I am sure he thought you are only human too.
I was once in my office on my own (shared it with two guys who were both away). No one had been in to see me all day. I dropped a fart and in walks a work colleague - I saw the exact moment that the smell hit his nostrils. I was so embarressed but pretended nothing was going on and so did he after he recovered from shock. Months later when we knew each other better and were at the pub, someone mentioned farts and he says to me "geezus you hit me with a beauty once - do you remember?". I guess it was one he did t forget...

It happened to me. Luckily, it was in front of one of my good friends, but my crush was a few seats away..! I was soooo embarrassed! I just laughed at myself and made light-hearted and then went on with the conversation with my friend. It's not a big deal, it happens. Don't worry! ;)

He probably did not even care that your burped or thought it was a little funny (funny in a good way). Most men don't care about this kind of thing when women do it. I don't care, I don't even care when women fart and many other men also don't care about that either. They are just natural bodily functions. Any real man does not care when women do bodily functions in my opinion.

Yes well in my opinion it is stupid to tell girls it is not lady like. I don't agree with society teaching girls this. Burping, farting and pooping are all natural bodily functions that you women need to do to so why should women be judged for doing it. :)

He was shamed by your action, and your failure to not commit ritual suicide for your great indisgretion. He has now likely been put off women for life, and will no doubt currently be in conversation with your employer, who is also ashamed by the gross act, to send a hit squad after your entire family... or more likely he was mildly suprised by it purely because it was not expected, then recognising that you are a human thought no more about it. Either way, you dont need to worry.
