I was cold after having dinner with him and he asked 'are you cold?' And I said yeah quite cold and barely in mind it was a very cold night too. Rather than taking off his coat, he put his arm around me and held me close to him as we walked to the bus stop and I had my arm around his waist as I didn't know what to do with my left arm.

Not necessarily. I'm personally a pretty touchy guy. I put my arms around, hug, hold hands, and even cuddle with platonic female friends. It has to do with how much affection my parents showed me and each other. It's in my nature to give love that way. I'm not the norm though, so he might like you.

Duh. That thought is rattling around in there somewhere. If he's talking to you and he's a guy then he's most likely thought about sex with you. Whether or not he liked the idea, it has probably crossed his mind.
