How to tell a guy who is creepy to leave you alone?

OK I went on a date with this guy a year and half ago. It was a nice date but than he creep-ed me out when he made comments of marrying me and wanted to take my kid on a camping trip, just the two of them! Remember this is a first date. I told him before the end of the date I wasn't interested in dating him, I would call him. He still calls and leaves voice mails/texts about our connection. Just recently he found me on a site and won't stop emailing. I haven't respond to him. Should I just keep ignoring him or should I tell him in a much harsher words to bugger off? What kind of behavior do you think he is?

If you actually feel 'in danger' you should take a more official/legal approach: see if you can get a restraining order.

Otherwise, you don't have to be nasty to be extremely firm:

"(His name), you know I told you after that first date I wasn't interested. Everything you've done since then has only made me even less interested. In fact, its reached a point now where there is literally no way I want anything to do with you.

Now that I've made this clear to you, the only reason you could have to continue contacting me is to annoy or antagonize me, so do us both a favor, and stop."

That message, though it may hurt him to hear, wasn't insulting. None of us want to tell people things they don't want to hear, but if they leave us no choice, that's what we've got to do.

Oh I can be mean, but with creepy guys I dont' know if mean is the best way. Don't know what kind of reaction I'd get....

Just say you are kinda scaring me so I think we should not talk no more or say I don't want to talk to you anymore so can you please leave me alone. He sounds like a stalker to me. If he won't leave you alone after a while call the cops because this can get very serious and you want to protect your kids.

I know I should tell him, but than I would be confirming its me... than again after a year you would think a guy would get the hint.

Be blunt with him. Fuck trying to be nice just tell him straight up.

"You are coming on WAY too strong and I'm not interested at all. Stop contacting me, thank you"
