Boy won't open my snapchat?

Okay so I hung out with this guy last week and he told me to tell him if I wanted to see him again, so a couple days after seeing him, I said I'd like to see him again (to which he didn't acknowledge).
He'll send me a snapchat, I'll open it to reply, but then he won't open it for 24 hours. I can tell he's sending other people snapchats, but I don't understand why he doesn't open mine. If he's not interested shouldn't he just ignore me? I'd much rather be left on read than have this confusing game going on in my head.
