Is it fine for father and daughter to share a bed on a trip at a hotel?

My boyfriend’s saying it’s not fine at all for this. However, i think it’s fine if there’s no sexualization in this. What do you all think?

If your father "sexualizes" you, you've got more serious things to worry about than whether you and your dad are going to sleep on the same bed.

Having said that, in my opinion, the answer would be yes. Obviously, most people would get separate beds (or separate rooms if one person, usually Dad, is a snorer who could wake the dead from their graves), but if you're in a tight spot, why would sleeping on the same bed with your Dad be weird? This guy has seen you grown up from a mewling little bundle of naked skin to what you are today. He's probably wiped your ass, worked long hours to see you fed and go to school. If he's a halfway decent Dad, it wouldn't be wrong to say you owe him a lot. Sleeping on the same bed, i. m. h. o, is such a non-issue. Now if it was an Uncle... I'd draw the line.

I see no problem with a father sharing a hotel bed with a daughter on a trip. It's simply a convenient way to save money during the trip. If he feels uncomfortable, he can bring an extra pillow or rolled up blanket, to place between them.

That man changed your diapers, gave you baths all your life and probably has slept with you in the same bed... What would be weird about sleeping on the same bed as him? If I were you I would talk to your bodyfriend to address the issue, as in what bothers him about it? What makes him concerned and then try to eliminate his worries...

Depends on the ages. If a girl was young I would not think it would be a good idea. But who would want to sleep in a bed with their dad? That could be awkward.

It is completely fine. I personally wouldn't sleep in the same room as my dad because he snores like a mf but I don't think that there's anything even remotely wrong in sleeping in the same bed as family.

I wouldn't because I want a bed to myself but I know some people that are completely fine with it. I don't see anything wrong with it.
