Guys, Why does my boyfriend spend so much time on Facebook?

I have been dating a guy for 5 months. I do believe he would never cheat or lie. I’ve noticed he keeps asking girls to be his friend on Facebook. Also when he tells me he’s busy at work messenger says he’s on-line constantly.
I can only believe the worse of course but even his ex wife says he would never lie or cheat. I’ve also noticed in his Facebook search it’s always just women. Am I not good enough to look at? Is he cheating? Is looking at other women a form of cheating?
It makes me feel like I’m not good enough and really hurts my self esteem
If I confront him he will say he always feels like he’s being watched.

Well for one I've done a test with my brother, had him log in and close Facebook which said he was still active even though he wasn't, perhaps that was a glitch. I'd also say that maybe he's looking for an old friend or perhaps looking into friends' friends or something of that nature. So I ask you this: Does he still take you places and buy you things? Does he still give you a lot of attention? How often do you personally see him on FB (my account says I am active even when I sleep sometimes)? Has he ever lied to you? Do you trust he'd remain loyal to you? Often times what you feel in your heart is true so consider those questions as well as what I've said then perhaps you'll find your answer.
