Guys, do you get nervous around girl friends?

My male coworker weve known eachother for 2 years & have become i guess friends. I recently noticed somedays he seem nervous when i approach to talk to him. he's tells people we are really good friends even though i wouldn't say all that but I've made a few observations that make me think he has a crush on me like staring at me and also being nervous. But he rarely texts me back even though he start the convos & he also blantaly avoids hugging me eventhough he hugs other girls. He also will "fake flirt" with his coworker in front of me. So I dont get it & i just noticed these things but i guess what makes me curious is... would you be nervous around a person you dont like like thay. If so what may be the reasons?

I get nervous if i am talking to new girls
It doesn't matter if i have a crush on them or not.
I dont know... If i stare at a girls face, i can't concentrate specially attractive girls. So i avoid eye contact and talk watching the floor or ceiling. If i get used to them then it is not a problem anymore. Another reason is breasts
If i accidentally stare at them and if they caught me, they might think about me badly... i have this fear.. cos i dont talk much with women. And i dont know how to talk... So all these fears make me nervous while talking to new girls
But i dont have problem with my older friends. Cos i am confident enough that they know me and my intentions are never wrong.

You work together so he is afraid of being too close because he likes you and he thinks it may affect work.

It is one of those situations where he is trying hard to pretend that he doesn't like you but somethings can't be hidden.

And also there could be gossip going around about you too that is making him nervous. Usually when a female and male spend too much time together at work, depending on the work environment, whether it is true or not people begin to assume you are a couple. And start gossiping. If he is overhearing the gossip, that could make him nervous.

It could be anything with him. Anything from social anxiety to not knowing how to talk to you, or even playing mind games. So just keep it cool and keep being friendly, and whatever happens happens. Don't stress yourself over this, as the reason (s) for his behavior could be minor. But I would tell him that for the record, you aren't into him on a romance level. Yes very much, my girlfriend wanted to hug me in public place I didn't had a problem with hugging so I hugged but I was unable to place hands on her shoulder while we were walking which I always wanted to do when I used to see other couples doing it and I didn't have a girlfriend although she kissed me few minutes ago, I could place my hand on her shoulder while walking.

I don't get nervous ever around female friends. If I like a girl in that way, then I wouldn't consider her a friend at that point, but something more.

For his case it could be many things such as social anxiety, your personality/vibe, or maybe he does like you. Just ignore it and keep moving on in life.

Ok... newsflash: 98% of the straight guys I've met can't flirt with "just a girl friend." If they are flirting, they are hoping it develops into something much more interesting.

This might be weird but sometimes when I get to know a girl as s friend and then realize I'm into her then I get nervouse if I was just introducing myself for a date not knowing her is easier for me then that situation so maybe he's into u

I thought that at first too since im naturally friendly so i sort of stopped being so friendly and watching what i said but then it was hard to do so i sort of stopped talking as much to him and then he innvited me to an event his school friends were having and it was chill but he seemed so nervous when his friends were talking to me that even his friend asked him if he was ok and they went outside together. So then it makes me wonder wth
