Is this a red flag? should I ignore it?

I’ve been speaking to a guy for the past month. We speak everyday. We have met up already etc. I think he likes me because he gets jealous at small things (then again could just be his way of being). On the weekend he went to a friends (female) birthday party. He and everyone who was there slept over at this party. Obviously I thought that was really disrespectful, but then again we are nothing - only speaking to each other. I then confronted him about it and he made it out as if he done nothing wrong. But I know if it were the other way round & I had slept somewhere with guys he would of been upset too. We got into an argument I blocked him on WhatsApp and he unfollowed me on Instagram.

would you consider this as a red flag? If so why? And what should I do?

Hmm... i wouldn't think it's a red flag. I have close guy friends and sometimes we'll throw a BBQ party and rent a chalet (there are both guys and girls in this large group). We tend to play games till really late at night and so it's just more convenient to sleepover. So if someone I like / boyfriend is the same, I wouldn't really get mad. Of course, I might feel worried but that's normal to. What is a red flag to me though, is how he reacted when you confronted him. If he brushes it off and make it seem like you're a absolute weirdo for worrying, that is a red flag to me. He should be reassuring.

But if i were you, I wouldn't have blocked him off. Instead I will let both of us cool off and see if he tries to explain himself afterwards and try to make up.

It does seem like there’s jealousy on both sides of this. Especially seeing how you’re both not exclusive, I would definitely consider this a red flag. As for what you can do, I suggest moving on and finding someone else. That much jealousy on both your parts is not healthy in my opinion, especially seeing as you’re both not exclusive.

Sure I wouldn't like it but you are correct, you two are not an item and he still is allowed to have friends, no matter what. I would apologise if I were you. But be clear with yourself on what you are ok with.

@spartan55 if she knows he would react differently if roles were reversed then no, she dodged it. If he would be cool with it, then she needs to evaluate what she wants and communicate.
