Why would a guy ask for my Snapchat and then Snapchat me asking for another girl’s snapchat?

We work at a restaurant. A few days ago was his last day. We’ve talked casually here and there and he randomly asked for my Snapchat yesterday so I gave it to him. Then a couple days later he asked if I knew another one of our coworker’s Snapchat. I swore he was into me? I brought it up to her and she thought it was odd because they’ve hardly spoken and he was always quiet around her. They don’t work similar shifts normally either. And she didn’t work the whole last week before he left, did he add me to get to her?
