Guys, Why did he thank me?

He had a difficult day, the day before yesterday... I sent him a text yesterday telling him that I was thinking of him and hoped he had a better day.

Well, I never heard from him. Which is cool. I get it. I saw him today and he thanked me... just randomly. It wasn't like within the first few minutes... hours, in the middle of a different conversation.

He didn't have to thank me. Thats what friends are for.

As for the time difference. We don't think like you ladies do so sometimes it smacks us in the face later on when we realize something. He was probably thinking about that day and what you did and thanked you.
