I go to this shop to get hot drinks on a daily basis. There is a Spanish/Portuguese or Spanish speaking guy in the shop whom I had/still have a crush on. He looked cute to me and his accent is cute (very thick, it is difficult to understand him when he speaks English but still cute). Initially, he noticed me but it wasn't more than that. He would look at me once or twice and that was it. As we wear masks in the shop, neither of us had seen each others full face.
A few days went by and suddenly he started to notice me a lot. He saw me without a mask too and I looked away from him and I noticed he didn't want to take my order but had to as nobody else was on the till. Gradually, his staring became excessive to the point, whenever I entered the shop and regardless of who he was serving, he would keep staring at me. We didn't talk and I just replied to his questions (if I wanted a hot drink or see you). A few days later, he warmly greeted me and that's how we began talking. He would make small talk with me each time I came in and would continue staring. Even when he was not taking my order, he would still come next to his colleagues and start small talks. Last week, he basically left his juice counter and came over to the next till to talk to me as we hadn't seen each other for a few days. He was asking me about how nice the weather is. But I think he got reprimanded for it as he doesn't talk to me in front of his colleagues anymore. He will simply wave but no talk if he's not the one taking my order. He continues to stare and exchange pleasantries.
I also order the same hot drink each time I come in so he knows of it and he's always the one bringing me the drink. 2 days ago he took the drink from his colleague and kept it at his till because I had queued up again and wouldn't be able to go to grab my cup. I didn't have my bag and he asked me if i needed a paper bag. He also gave me my daily drink for free.
If he likes me why doesn't he give his no?
