Should I message or stay silent?

I’m been seeing a guy casually for about a year, usually see every weekend. We last spoke about a month ago and he said he’d message me later, but he never did. I decided to not message and chase after him and copy what he’s doing and be silent but it’s been so long now, should I message him or stay silent and hope he eventually comes back? Do guys always come back? Was he testing me to see if I’d chase?

Ok hypothetically if he's lost/dropped in the toilet/had stolen his phone and lost your number would you know?


What if he's had an accident and is recovering in hospital?


Maybe he's sensed rightly or wrongly you're turning cool and don't seem interested so he's moved on.

We only talk on Facebook and I’ve seen he’s been active all the time and posting stuff so he’s definitely okay. He did this a lot, stop talking and it was always me that chased after him but I’m sick of it and not doing it again, not wanting to play games.

Honestly, I hate playing mind games and I’d prolly just check up on him. If he doesn’t respond I’d just move on. I, personally, prefer people telling me we are done rather than ghosting on me so I’d prolly have that one “final” reach out before letting go.

Guys don't test. Most guys don't chase like that. I'd say plenty of guys do come back, even after a month, if something legit took over their life for a while. It's more likely when you (as you say) were only casual.
